A PaymentRequest transaction reserves the specified amount on the cardholder’s account but does not move the funds to the merchant's account until a Settlement is processed.

Auto-Settle

PayGate offers an Auto-Settle feature that automatically settles approved transactions.

Enabled by default
You can request to disable it for manual settlement via the Merchant Access Portal.

3D Secure Support

3D Secure authentication (Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode) may be required for card payments, depending on your acquirer and regional regulations.

PayHost supports three 3D Secure integration options:

No 3D Secure
Ideal for low-risk flows or use cases with exemptions.
3D Secure via PayGate’s MPI
Simplifies authentication by routing through PayGate’s Merchant Plug-In (MPI).
3D Secure via Merchant’s MPI
Full control over authentication flow, ideal for enterprise merchants with their own 3D Secure infrastructure.
