How to Set Up PayGate on Your Shopify Store

Step 1: Install the PayGate App

Click the link below to begin:

This will take you to the installation screen.

Follow the link and cick install to get Paygate for Shopify up and running in no time.

Click Install to grant the necessary permissions and continue.

Step 2: Add Your PayGate Credentials

Once installed, you'll be prompted to configure your plugin:

  • Enter your PayGate ID
  • Enter your Encryption Key
  • (Optional) Enable Test Mode if you're still testing before going live
  • Click Save Settings
Enter your pagagte ID, encryption key, and click Save Settings to continue.

Step 3: Activate PayGate in Shopify

Now that your plugin is configured:

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin
  2. Navigate to Settings > Payments
  3. Find PayGate under “Alternative payment methods”
  4. Click Activate
Toggle the card schemes you would like to enable, and click Activate. You are all set up, and ready to receive card payments online.

PayGate is now your active payment gateway.

Optional: Test Your Checkout Flow

If you're using Test Mode, simulate a few transactions using PayGate’s test card numbers.Once satisfied, disable Test Mode to start accepting real payments.
