PayGate PrestaShop Plugin Integration Guide

This plugin enables seamless checkout by redirecting your customers to a secure PayGate-hosted payment page, then returning them to your store once payment is complete.

Installation Steps

1. Download the Plugin

   • Download the .zip file from GitHub or the official PayGate site.

2. Install the Plugin

   • Log in to your PrestaShop admin panel.
   • Navigate to Modules > Module Manager.
   • Click Upload a Module.
   • Select and upload the plugin archive (e.g. paygate.zip).
   • Once uploaded, you’ll receive a success confirmation.

3. Configure the Plugin

   • Find the PayGate module under Installed Modules.

   • Click Configure.

   • Enter your:

     • PayGate Merchant ID
     • API keys or other credentials

   • Configure optional settings like:

     • Currency support
     • Payment page behavior
     • Redirect URLs (success, cancel, failure)

4. Test and Go Live

   • Run test transactions to ensure the payment flow works as expected.
   • Confirm your PayGate account is active and properly configured.
   • Set the plugin to “Live” mode when ready.
